However it's still a fridge that's priced with a price tag. We're not convinced that it's worth the cost to justify the cost over a similarly capable and efficient fridge without the InstaView feature.
This is especially the case when you compare this model to the four-door LFXC24796D which retails at $4,200, and has almost the same internal storage capacity. That same sized model without the InstaView feature would cost $3,800.
In our tests, we found that the InstaView refrigerator's door compartment was slightly warmer than the rest of the fridge, which suggests that it's not actually reducing cold-air-loss but simply providing an easy access point to the shelves inside.
We liked the clear organiser that was designed for egg storage. It could also be used to store other items, for example, yogurts. It's nice to see the 24cm LED strip on both the fridge and freezer that illuminates when the InstaView doors are tapped twice. This gives you excellent visibility for quick item retrieval.
This model is the first of its kind that comes with LG's exclusive Craft Ice System that produces stunning spheres that are ideal to chill whisky and cocktails.
